Karuna brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective from her liberal arts academic background coupled with diverse career roles. Having handled large projects and responsibilities, she has a deep understanding of working in complex settings with diverse stakeholders. She has collaborated with grassroots organisations in an effort to reduce health and educational achievement gaps, both in the US and India. This experience combined with her desire to promote inclusive progress led her to work with the particularly vulnerable primitive groups (PVTGs) in Tripura, one of India's backward states. This provided her an in-depth knowledge, logical insights, and justice-based frameworks to implement practical solutions to create social impact.
In her recent role as a Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs intern, Karuna worked with the GoI's Mission Karmayogi to develop an online platform for competency-based capacity building for government officials which instilled in her to be a lifelong learner.Connect with Karuna Reang
