Nimish Adhia is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Manhattanville College in New York. His domains of expertise lie in international trade, economics of developing countries, and intellectual history of capitalism. He is on the editorial board of Education About Asia and serves as the Series Editor of the Economic History Cast Studies of Sage Publishers.

Dr. Adhia earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois, Chicago. His research concerns with the interplay of culture and economics in the international arena. He has been an Upton Miller Teaching Fellow at Beloit College and a visiting Assistant Professor at Berry College.
