Shivam was a Senior Engineer at Larsen and Toubro where he worked for DFCC Projects and got a chance to learn from people highly competent in their field of work giving him valuable exposure. He is presently interning with the National Institute of Urban Affairs, assisting the Urban20 team with writing tasks and secondary research. Through this, he is engaged in the contemporary policy challenges in the urban sphere. He has also volunteered with NGOs in the past. As an active participant in extracurriculars, he found his creative flow through Theatre Arts and is leading the cultural club at ISPP.

He is also the elected Careers Representative of the cohort. He is keen on working on policy challenges pertaining to the domains of urbanization, infrastructure and technology. The thrill of finding solutions that help improve people’s lives is what drives him to be part of the public policy space.
