Indian School of Public Policy aims to create next-gen policy leaders for a rising India. ISPP seeks to build capacities across Sarkaar, Bazaar and Samaaj (Government, Business, Civil Society). The first cohort of scholars commenced the year-long post-graduate program in Public Policy, Design and Management, in August 2019. ISPP is now welcoming its sixth cohort in 2024. In addition to the year-long programme, ISPP also offers a range of Executive Education courses in the fields of Policy, Data and Behaviour Change; Understanding Government and others.

G. Overview of the Role

ISPP is seeking a Senior Associate, Communications and Marketing to support the Institutional
Relations and Development vertical in developing and executing the school’s communication and marketing campaigns (offline and online). The Senior Associate will primarily manage targeted campaigns, generate impactful content, oversee digital channels, and content distribution to build the school’s brand.
This demanding and wide-ranging role would require working closely with the admissions,
creative, and outreach teams to develop a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy.
The candidate should be proficient in digital marketing, lead generation, managing digital
platforms/technologies, crafting content for social media and website, copywriting for the school’s publications, and email marketing.

H. Duties and Responsibilities

1.Strategic Communication and Planning

  • Ensure that ISPP’s communication is up to date and reflective of the school’s vision
    and mission
  • Develop relationships with national media to promote ISPP’s vision and mission

2. Digital Marketing and Lead Generation

  • Plan and execute online and offline marketing campaigns to promote the school and
    generate leads for its various programmes
  • Track the effectiveness and efficiency of various campaigns and initiatives through
    marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook insights, etc.)

3. Content Creation and Development

  • Create high-quality content for the website, social media, mailers, press releases and
    brochures
  • Ensure the activities and events at ISPP are covered and shared externally

    I. Prior experience and credentials
  • MBA in Marketing/Communication Management or a Master’s degree in related fields
  • Familiarity with Adwords campaigns, CMS software, SEO/SEM strategy and analytics,
    and CRM systems
  • Previous experience in setting up ad campaigns and handling digital marketing vendors is
    an advantage
  • Exceptional written communication skills with experience writing for different mediums
  • Network in the national media is a strong plus
  • Should be fluent in English and Hindi, other languages welcome

    J. Qualities desired
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with diverse sets of people
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proactively engaging with and implementing innovations in the sector

    K. Compensation
  • Base pay: ₹55,000 per month with additional incentives up to ₹17,000 per month.

Programme Advisor, Admissions

Indian School of Public Policy, founded in October 2018, aims to democratise public policy in India. ISPP seeks to build capacities across Sarkaar, Bazaar and Samaaj (Government, Business, Civil Society and non-profits). The first cohort of scholars commenced the year-long post-graduate program in Public Policy, Design and Management, in August 2019. ISPP is now welcoming its sixth cohort in 2024. In addition to the year-long programme, ISPP also offers a range of Executive Education courses in the fields of Policy, Data and Behaviour Change; Understanding Government and others. 

Overview of the role and responsibility

ISPP is seeking a Programme Advisor to support the admissions team in student recruitment activities for various courses offered by the school. The Programme Advisor will primarily be involved in call counselling work with the goal of advising prospective students about the programmes offered by ISPP and assisting them in identifying and enrolling in the programme tailored for their needs. In the process, the advisor will focus on guiding prospective students through the admissions process, offering information about all programme offerings, requirements and assisting them with the application submission. They would also need to be able to guide prospective candidates through the various admissions stages and support them in progressing with their application. The position involves managing and working with large datasets on a CRM platform and engaging in handling queries over the phone, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience for the prospective student. 

Prior experience and credentials

  • Must have a background in Public Policy/Education/Economics or related fields. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Should be fluent in English and Hindi, other languages welcome.
  • Previous experience in call counselling or an admissions support role is a major advantage.
  • Understanding of public policy or related fields is an advantage. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage queries and concerns with empathy and patience.
