Ashish Aggarwal is Vice President and Head of Public Policy at Nasscom. Since 2018, he has worked with technology companies, government, and regulators on policy issues across data, AI, digital platforms, online safety, digital infrastructure, trust in technology and digital trade. His work is directed at making technology regulation clearer, more practical and better aligned with how digital markets operate. He brings industry evidence into policy design and implementation, with a focus on rules that support innovation while remaining capable of being applied in practice. Before Nasscom, he worked with NIPFP on financial regulation, digital payments, and consumer protection.
