Dhritiman Biswas is a public affairs and government relations leader with over 24 years of experience working across the retail, FMCG, food, and manufacturing sectors. He currently serves as South Asia Leader for Government Relations at Cargill, where he leads engagement on policy, regulatory affairs, and stakeholder partnerships across the region. Over the course of his career, he has worked extensively at the intersection of business, governance, and public policy, with expertise in market access, trade, licensing, corporate responsibility, and business continuity.
Prior to Cargill, Dhritiman held leadership roles including Head of Government Affairs at Abbott Nutrition, Head of Corporate Affairs at Asian Paints, and Government Relations roles at Walmart India during its early years in the Indian market. Beyond industry, he has also been closely involved with India’s sports and skilling ecosystems, serving on the governing boards of the Sports, Physical Education, Fitness and Leisure Skills Council (SPEFL) and the Food Industry Capacity & Skill Initiative (FICSI). He was also part of the core Fit India team, contributing to national conversations around sports, fitness, and workforce development.
