About the Roundtable
India is rapidly expanding access to artificial intelligence skills through public, private and philanthropic skilling initiatives. Yet, the challenge extends beyond training, to ensuring that these skills translate into meaningful employment and career opportunities.
This roundtable brings together senior voices from government, industry and academia to examine how India can strengthen the pathway from AI skilling to employment, particularly as emerging technologies reshape entry-level work and the skills employers value.
The discussion will explore how India can build credible pathways for assessing and recognising AI capabilities, strengthen connections between skilling and employment, and ensure that the benefits of an AI-enabled workforce extend beyond metropolitan and highly educated talent.
