Fundraising, Deputy Manager

We are recruiting a full-time office-based Fundraising, Deputy Manager to support the partnerships and fundraising activity at ISPP.

Position Summary

The Fundraising, Deputy Manager will be responsible for managing ISPP’s fundraising strategy, establishing and sustaining donor relationships, and ensuring effective grant acquisition and retention. The role requires strong research, proposal development, outreach and relationship-management skills, along with the ability to represent ISPP at external platforms and engage with diverse stakeholders across the public policy ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Donor Research & Strategy Development

Conduct comprehensive research to identify CSR, foundation, HNI, multilateral and institutional fundraising opportunities.
Maintain and update the donor pipeline and funding landscape reports.
Support the implementation of annual fundraising goals and strategic plans.

2. Outreach & Relationship Management

Initiate and manage outreach to potential donors and partners.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with CSR heads, foundation leaders, government stakeholders and philanthropic networks.
Represent ISPP at external events, conferences and stakeholder meetings.

3. Proposal Development & Documentation

Prepare proposals, concept notes, grant applications, pitch decks and supporting documents.

4. Donor Servicing & Grant Management

5. Event Participation & Representation

6. Internal Coordination & Reporting

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate in Management, Public Policy, Development Studies, Communications or related field. Post-graduate will be preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, business development, or related roles. Experience of working in an academic institution is a plus.
Proven experience in proposal writing, donor relationship management, databases, CRM and external representation.
Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Learning Associate (Economics/Statistics)

About ISPP

Job Profile

You will be a key member of the academic team at ISPP that works closely with several policy practitioners, including former and current civil servants and renowned experts across a wide range of domains. While you will directly support scholars’ learning in the Public Policy, Design & Management (PDM) program, you will also support various programmes such as Lok Neeti, Executive Education and Case Study Centre.

For this specific role, ISPP is seeking candidates with a Master’s degree in Public Policy/ Econometrics/Statistics/ Economics or closely related fields. Candidates with prior project and/or teaching experience in one or more of these fields are strongly preferred.

Job Responsibility

Academic Support:

Engaging with the faculty on various aspects of course delivery which may include, but not limited to, course design and development, preparation of evaluation rubrics, and evaluation or grading of scholar performance
Supporting scholar learning through the conduct of tutorials to achieve course learning objectives, facilitating faculty feedback on student performance, and scheduling office hours for scholars

Position Overview

ISPP is seeking an Admissions & Outreach Counsellor to support the admissions team in student recruitment and outreach activities for the school’s programmes. The Counsellor will primarily engage in call counselling to advise prospective students about ISPP’s offerings and assist them in identifying and enrolling in the programme best suited to their needs.

In addition to guiding candidates through the admissions process, the role will contribute to outreach and marketing initiatives — including drafting mailers, blogs, and other communication material — to engage prospective students and build awareness of ISPP’s programmes. Given the emerging importance of urban areas in shaping India’s journey toward becoming a Viksit Bharat, ISPP has launched the Centre for Urban Transitions (ICUT).
