Dr Ananya Samajdar

Head of Research at GRAAM

Dr Ananya Samajdar is the Deputy Director for research at GRAAM, where she leads a team conducting impactful studies. Holding a Ph.D. in Political Science from the National University of Singapore, Dr. Samajdar brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her extensive experience includes spearheading research projects for esteemed organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), Karnataka Evaluation Authority, and UNICEF.

Prior to her current position, Dr. Samajdar contributed significantly to the field of education and corporate social responsibility (CSR). During her tenure at TISS, she collaborated with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) on higher education and academic leadership initiatives. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in influencing CSR activities at Coal India.
