Mr. Naveen Tandon is a public policy, advocacy, government affairs, and regulatory affairs leader with over 29 years of experience across technology, media, telecommunications, manufacturing, and environmental sectors. He currently leads the Policy & Strategy and Government Affairs function for India and Sri Lanka at Apple, providing policy support across services and content, manufacturing, supply chain, artificial intelligence, environmental, and renewable energy initiatives.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Tandon has led advocacy efforts for policy reforms, laws, licensing frameworks, and regulations, while driving strategic and operational engagement with central and state governments. He has extensive experience in developing government affairs strategies, building industry coalitions, and identifying policy opportunities and challenges that impact business growth and competitiveness.
Prior to joining Apple, Mr. Tandon led Government and Regulatory Affairs for India and South Asia at AT&T. Earlier, he held leadership roles in the ICT policy practices of Reliance and Tata Group, contributing to policy development and industry engagement across the sector.
A Postgraduate in Economics, a Law Graduate, a Management Graduate in Finance, and a Cost Accountant (ACMA), Mr. Tandon is also a certified Independent Director with expertise in corporate governance and strategic leadership. He is known for building strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and advancing policy reforms that support market liberalisation, competitiveness, and inclusive growth.
