Overview

RangNeeti 2026 was the inaugural edition of ISPP’s unique initiative that brought together street theatre and public policy in one shared space of expression, dialogue, and reflection.

Held on 26 April 2026, the event was designed to move policy conversations beyond classrooms and into the public sphere. By combining performance with discussion, RangNeeti created a format that was engaging, accessible, and rooted in lived experience.

Vision

RangNeeti was envisioned as a platform to democratize policy discourse by connecting public policy with creative expression.

At its core, the initiative sought to bridge the gap between nukkad natak and policymaking, creating a space where policy could be experienced, questioned, and co-created. It reflected ISPP’s belief that policy becomes more meaningful when it is understood collectively and connected to real social realities.

Inside RangNeeti 2026

The day unfolded in two parts, each designed to deepen engagement in a different way.

The first session featured Nukkad Natak performances by four participating teams, who used theatre to bring complex social themes to life.

The second session, the Policy Baithak, created space for participants to reflect on these performances through conversations with experts, faculty, and guests, connecting artistic expression with structured policy thinking.

Highlights

RangNeeti 2026 brought together 75+ participants, 4 teams, and 25+ ISPP event coordinators.

The event explored themes such as religiosity, identity, justice, and belief systems, making policy conversations more relatable and emotionally resonant. It also created strong audience engagement and served as a meaningful outreach platform for ISPP among student communities.
