About our Speaker

  1. Shokin Chauhan – Lt Gen Shokin Chauhan, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, is a former Director-General of the Assam Rifles and former Chairman of the Cease Fire Monitoring Group. Commissioned into the 11 Gorkha Rifles in 1979, he served for several decades in the Indian Army, gaining extensive experience in counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations in both Kashmir and the Northeast.
