Indian Network For Economic Research (INER)
Led by Dr Ila Patnaik, the Indian Network for Economic Research (INER) is an initiative of the Indian School of Public Policy (ISPP). It is a distributed network designed to crystallise and leverage policy-relevant economic research to serve India’s structural transformation.
Mission & Vision
INER connects economists across academia, research organisations, and think tanks in both the public and private spheres. By connecting diverse research nodes, INER aims to better inform India’s economic trajectory and determine how research will shape the nation’s future.
Our Core Principles
The network is anchored in five foundational pillars:
Academic Rigour
Ensuring high-level scholarly standards.
Evidence-Driven Analysis
Focusing on findings rooted in factual outcomes.
Transparent Research
Maintaining openness in processes and results.
Replicability
Ensuring research can be independently verified.
