Senior Associate, Research And Knowledge Management
Bhogtoram Mawroh has a PhD in geography from North Eastern Hill University. He joined NESFAS (North East Support for Agroecology Society) in 2018 and is presently working as the Senior Associate in charge of the Research and Knowledge Management unit. In early 2023, he was appointed as the TIP-NESFAS International Indigenous Peoples Food Issues Coordinator by Bioversity International. The focus of his work is on agrobiodiversity, agroecology, health and nutrition, food sovereignty, along with the promotion and revitalisation of traditional farming practices in the indigenous territories of North East India.
