Indian Network For Economic Research (INER)
The Indian Network for Economic Research (INER) at the Indian School of Public Policy (ISPP), has been established with an aim to revolutionize the Indian economic research space with a networked, data driven, and policy-centric approach.
INER bridges the structural gap in India’s research landscape by building crucial bridges: between data and policy, academia and government, national and international scholars. It gives voice to young scholars and establishes India’s leadership in global economic ideas from the Global South point of view. Through its emphasis on open-access research and data, INER places public interest ahead of commercial or institutional interests. From co-published to co-created policy insights, INER opens doors to governments, universities, and civil society to join a shared research frontier.
INER is a unique opportunity to systematically reshape India’s economic policy environment by investing in the people, institutions, and platforms generating and using high-quality research.
