Is ISPP suitable for fresh graduates with no background in public policy?

If you explore the PDM Programme in Public Policy, you will see that it is designed as a one-year, intensive programme that combines theory, skills, and real-world exposure. This makes it ideal for students who are motivated to create impact but are still shaping their professional direction.

The academic design focuses on developing analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and an understanding of how public institutions function. This gives fresh graduates confidence that they are not “behind” experienced professionals but are instead being trained systematically from the ground up.

In addition, ISPP provides strong support through its Career Support framework. Rather than expecting students to figure everything out on their own, the institution actively guides them in identifying strengths, interests, and career possibilities within the policy research ecosystem.

For someone who is idealistic and wants to work on real societal challenges but is unsure where to begin, ISPP offers both academic grounding and career direction. It creates a safe, structured environment where recent graduates can explore policy as a profession while developing clarity, confidence, and competence.
